Christian Neel was born in Cannes on August 15, 1960. Having always had a passion for drawing and painting, he studied at the "Arts Décoratifs" in Nice. Reflections of light in the south of France became his inspiration. His use of dynamic colors is brilliant when mixed on canvas with brushes and knives. Black, red, blue and white backgrounds bring intensity of expression creating an astonishing supernatural environment of oneness in his art. Inventiveness and direction of colour harmonies blend together resulting in a unique creation on canvas. Combining reality with abstract forms, Christian's work is a voyage between dream and reality and a springboard for the imagination.
